Northgate Compliance is a Lancashire-based cyber compliance consultancy, here to help small and medium businesses across the North West feel confident about cyber security. We offer fixed-price Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, UK GDPR, and DSP Toolkit work, delivered in plain English with no surprises.

We believe you deserve to know what compliance work will cost before you commit to it. That's why every engagement we offer comes with a clearly defined scope, a fixed price, and a set timeline - all agreed upfront. If a Cyber Essentials Plus certification is quoted at £3,495, that's the price, whether the work takes us four weeks or seven. Running a small business is hard enough without surprise invoices from your consultants.
Plain English, no jargon
Cyber security is one of those topics where jargon can get in the way of a useful conversation. We do things differently. Whether we're walking you through your audit findings or explaining a control you need to change, we use plain language - the kind you can take into a board meeting without needing to translate first. We're proudly based in Lancashire and work with businesses right across the North West - from Manchester and Liverpool to Preston, Chester, and the towns and cities in between. We can meet you in person when it helps, we understand the regional market and the cyber security pressures it faces - from defence supply chain requirements to the DSP Toolkit expected of NHS suppliers - and our rates reflect being based in Lancashire, not London.
Working toward NCSC Assured Cyber Advisor status
We're currently working toward NCSC Assured Cyber Advisor status under the IASME-administered scheme. We'll proudly share the news here once it's awarded. Until then, we believe honesty about where we are matters more than impressive-sounding claims we haven't earned yet.
Independent advice
We don't resell software or take commission from security vendors. When we recommend a tool, it's because it's the right one for your business - not because there's something in it for us. If a free option does the job well, that's what you'll hear from us. Our focus is on helping you achieve compliance properly, with no hidden incentives along the way.
